WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Building Technician on this team, you are skilled at responding to maintenance requests and handling any necessary repairs, such as fixing flooring, drywall, plaster, and painting. You must also conduct minor repairs and preserve the general quality of a facility. Your duties include conducting routine maintenance checks, identifying building maintenance needs and reporting them to our Tech Support Coordinators and to Property Managers for follow on maintenance care. Some of your typical daily duties include:

• Plumbing repairs and installation.
• General carpentry.
• General Maintenance repairs
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Flooring repairs and installation.
• Staining, varnishing, and painting.
• Time clocks adjustment.
• Door adjustments.
• Interior ballast replacement.
• Fire/Security Alarm functions.
• Commercial HVAC troubleshooting and programming.
• Preventative Maintenance execution and development.
• Requisition & purchase materials.
• Ability to proficiently use mobile devices.
• Communicate site issues with Operation Support Coordinator(s) and Account/Property Managers.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• A minimum of 3-years’ experience in building maintenance/engineer.
• Must own and safely operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• State of Minnesota Boilers License - Second Class B or higher
• Customer relation skills. Kind, respectful, helpful always.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
