Description
Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Sandwich, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
We are currently seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sandwich, IL. This is a hands-on position preparing and maintaining construction office trailers for customer use.
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare construction office trailers
- Perform general repairs and maintenance
- Install and repair trim, flooring, and tile
- Repair walls, roofing, and other interior/exterior components
- Replace or repair tires and perform additional maintenance as needed
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous construction, maintenance, or general building repair experience required
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and stand throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendancey.
