Position: Property Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)
Location: JBLM Area – Pierce & Thurston County

Pay: $28.85–$33.65/hr DOE + Bonuses
Operation: Red Dot is a veteran-owned real estate and property management company serving the JBLM community and surrounding areas. We manage a growing portfolio of residential homes and are looking for a high-level Maintenance Technician who operates with consistency, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
This role is built for someone who can work independently in the field, make sound decisions, and communicate clearly with both the internal team and clients.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Conducting detailed property inspections with clear notes and high-quality photo documentation
- Completing general maintenance and repair work (drywall, minor plumbing, fixtures, basic electrical, etc.)
- Identifying issues early and recommending solutions before they escalate
- Communicating updates, findings, and next steps in real time
- Coordinating with the Maintenance Coordinator and third-party vendors
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked work vehicle
- Representing Operation: Red Dot professionally in occupied and vacant homes

Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on maintenance, construction, or residential repair experience
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Basic plumbing and electrical systems
- Drywall repair and interior finishes
- General home functionality and troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable using mobile apps/software for reporting and communication (AppFolio or similar)
- Ability to work independently across multiple properties and environments
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience with paint, trim, and baseboard installation
- Experience with flooring installation (LVP, laminate, or similar)
- Prior experience in property management or residential maintenance
- Military or logistics background
Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000 – $70,000 annually (DOE)
- Company vehicle provided after 90 day probation period
