    Description

    Knowledge of skill saw, table saw, nailer, etc.; silver brazing and welding. Installation of windows, screens, floors, and locks. Painting. Ability to drive lawn mowers. Able to read and follow wiring schematics and blueprints. Understand electrical and mechanical functions. Aware of codes and manufacturer’s guidelines about tribal equipment and buildings. Knowledge of electrical panels to 460Volt 3phase and complex control circuits.  Knowledge of pumps and motors to 400 HP. Familiarity with tribal policies, procedures, organization, and administration. Good communication skills in written and oral form. Knowledge and mechanical ability to keep all equipment in good operating condition. 

    Requirements

    Schedule maintenance on equipment. Inspect buildings and check for electrical and mechanical problems. This shall include testing and repair of fire systems. Restore and maintain inventory. Perform emergency plumbing and sewer repairs. Maintain the Tribes security camera system and install new security equipment as necessary. Perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and assist in other areas where staffing shortages exit. Valid Oregon drivers license is required and must be insurable under the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Must also submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal, Tribal and State Law Enforcement.
