BUILDING MAINTENANCE WKR P/T

The purpose of this position is to maintain the appearance and safety of City facilities. This is accomplished by sanitizing restrooms, collecting and removing trash and recyclable materials and maintaining the interior and exterior of facilities. Other duties include performing general and specialty cleaning activities, maintaining floors, requisitioning supplies, and interacting with City employees and citizens. Typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 5pm to 10pm, or up to eight hour days on weekends, not to exceed twenty-five hours a week. Schedule is subject to change to meet the needs of the department. This position does not provide direction to other employees.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months experience in janitorial work, building maintenance, or related field.
• Valid Texas Class C Drivers License and safe driving record.
• Must be able to pass a standard background check, as well as a background check through the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and a drug screen.
