Job Summary:
The Building Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, functionality, and efficiency of organizational facilities and property operations. This position serves as the organization's primary internal resource for facility operations and provides technical leadership for the building's mechanical, plumbing, electrical, automation, and general facility systems. In addition, this position oversees safety compliance, space planning, and day-to-day facility operations to ensure a safe, clean, and effective work environment for staff and visitors. This position is required to be on-sight weekdays during business hours and supervises one employee.
Job requires ability to walk facilities and inspect building daily. Exposure to maintenance areas and mechanical systems while working inside and sometimes outdoors. Work requires daily presence in the building while staff operate in a hybrid work schedule. Extended hours may be needed on nights/weekends to meet specific work objectives and to respond to facility emergencies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma, or equivalent with at least five (5)+ years of experience of facilities or property management experience required. Experience managing commercial office buildings or nonprofit facilities preferred. Experience with office administration and vendor management.
