Building Materials Sales Director

Our client is a premier manufacturer/distributor in the building products industry, and they are searching for an experienced Sales Director to lead a team of Outside Sales Representatives in the flooring/countertop industry based out of their Edison, NJ location.The Sales Director is responsible to grow and develop the sales and margins of the company's product lines with the retailer/dealer network.Position will spend 3 days in the field and 2 days in the office.Position covers all of NJ, Manhattan, and 5 boroughs.Develop relationships with current customers and potential customers within specific territory.Travel, coach and supervise Outside Sales Reps.Product Training.Quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales contracts for customer ordersQualifications 5+ years Building Materials Sales experience.Experience selling natural stone, tile or hard flooring industries strongly preferred.2+ years managing an Outside Sales team.5+ years product training experience.Bachelor's degree and/or college coursework preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
