Building Services Technician
Location: Exton, PA
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Department: Operations – Manufacturing

Position Overview
We are seeking a Building Services Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, secure, and well-maintained work environment throughout the Exton facility. This role supports building services and cleaning operations within a regulated biomedical manufacturing environment, including Controlled Environment Areas used in production.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and care of the entire facility using approved methods and materials.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, remove trash, and handle recycling.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces.
- Perform floor care, resurfacing, stripping, and burnishing.
- Operate and maintain automatic floor scrubbers, burnishing buffers, stripping machines, and vacuums.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled cleaning and maintenance of Controlled
- Environment Areas.
- Ensure assigned areas meet required environmental and cleanliness standards.
- Support the Maintenance Department with indoor and outdoor building services as needed.
- Complete entries and documentation in inspection record logbooks.
- Work overtime during scheduled quarterly shutdowns and as needed for unscheduled assignments.
- Assist with training and onboarding new employees on department tasks, assignments, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and keep appropriate personnel informed of relevant issues.
- Follow all applicable safety, security, environmental, and site procedures.
- Report safety, security, and environmental incidents or observed risks to management.
- Follow all established Life Saving Rules and facility requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

- Experience operating commercial cleaning and floor-care equipment preferred.
- Ability to follow approved cleaning methods, procedures, and documentation requirements.

- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Reliable and punctual attendance required.
