Job Description
Minimum License Requirements: WI DPI 5 Year Teaching or Substitute License or 3 Year Substitute Permit.
Responsibilities:
I. Instruction
- Follow and implement the approved District curriculum.
- Remain educationally current
- Teach and provide learning opportunities for students.
- Attempt to provide a variety of teaching techniques, strategies and modes.
- Provide ongoing feedback and reinforcement to students.
- Use appropriate strategies for classroom management.
- Exhibit flexibility in matching content to the learners' level of development.
II. Evaluation
- Assess student progress both formally and informally on an ongoing basis.
- Implement and record evaluation information appropriately.
III. Relationships
- Demonstrate respect, fairness, and consistency when working with students and staff.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress.
IV. Other
- Abide by District policies and regulations.
- Accept assignments in all curricular and special education classes.
- When there are no specific class assignments for a given hour or day assist with supervisors and office duties.
