Building Substitute Teacher

Whitewater Middle School is seeking a candidate to be the building substitute. This position is for the 26-27 school year everyday that school is in session. Hours are 7:35am-3:35pm Monday through Friday. This position will sub for all classes throughtout the Middle School when a staff member is absent. Candidates with teaching experience will be given preference.

Whitewater Middle School serves students in grades six through eight and has an enrollment of approximately 415 students. Each grade level is arranged in teams of academic teachers and one team of related arts teachers serving all three grade levels. Students have the opportunity to participate in many clubs and sports. Whitewater is a vibrant, diverse community with a growing population of multilingual families. Preference will be given to candidates who are multilingual.

Whitewater Unified School District has elements of rural and suburban communities. The City of Whitewater has a population of approximately 14,500. Whitewater is located in southern Wisconsin, approximately 45 miles west of Milwaukee, 45 miles east of Madison, and 100 miles northwest of Chicago.
