What You'll Do

  • Complete routine repair work on buildings and equipment.
  • Determine and complete preventative maintenance.
  • Plan and arrange for contractor repair work.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve or recommend solutions to complex facility issues.
  • Complete general building support tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires experience performing semi-skilled maintenance and repair involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance trades. This experience is typically gained by at least six months experience performing general duties in this area -OR- completion of a vocational-technology course in this area.

This position requires some knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems maintenance. This knowledge is typically gained through formal training/education on HVAC systems -OR- through six months of professional work experience performing routine HVAC maintenance.
