Job Summary

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting plant floor devices to maintain optimal performance of automated systems and facility equipment. The role supports breakdown response by prioritizing calls, expediting resolution, and providing technical guidance to maintenance mechanics. This position leverages experience in automation systems, PLCs, and electrical troubleshooting to resolve complex issues and ensure reliability of conveyors and facility infrastructure. Additionally, this role assists in addressing daily operational challenges to maintain safe and efficient system performance.

Responsibilities
  • Responds to internal customers and operational support requests.
  • Responds to facility alarms, automation faults, and emergencies.
  • Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues, including PLC-controlled systems.
  • Supports and guides maintenance mechanics in diagnosing and completing repairs.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on automated and facility systems.
  • Assists in maintaining optimal performance of conveyors and other automated equipment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in engineering – Preferred
  • Experience with automation systems, including PLC troubleshooting and control systems – Preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and electrical troubleshooting – Preferred
  • Programming experience, including basic network understanding and system diagnostics – Preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams -Preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $23 per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates, ranges, and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.
