Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this role is primarily responsible for working in coordination with the Safety and Maintenance Departments to maintain the organization and cleanliness of the facility (inside/outside).
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the inside/outside appearance of the building and grounds. (Outside duties limited to minor snow cleanup, fenced yard organization, etc.)
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work.
- Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve maintenance/safety issues.
- Use of general maintenance tools as needed to complete required tasks/repairs.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
- Participate in equipment preventative maintenance.
- Lead 6S projects that include general safety/housekeeping tasks: setup/tear down of racking, painting identified walkways, organizing tools/work areas, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent.
- Previous building and grounds experience preferred but not required.

- Ability to work with supervisory staff to help create a safe and well organized work area.
- Ability to operate a forklift.

Equipment Operated: Forklift, measurement devices, wrenches, screwdrivers, AWP, and various other hand and power tools.
