The primary function of the Material Handler is to load and unload bulk fuels/oils, completing assigned paperwork. Compliance with all DOT, Company and Safety Policies, procedures and practices shall be always adhered to. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports to the site manager.
Essential Job Functions:
- Handle and container filling of petroleum products
- Forklift operation
- Truck driving as needed in yard only
- Packaging of petroleum products
- Loading & unloading bulk product truck loads, lubes, salt and propane cylinders
- Cleaning of product totes and facility
- Lawn care and snow removal
- Consolidate and rotate inventory using FIFO and help with daily, weekly and monthly inventories
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, check for correct vehicle position and any special loading equipment is properly positioned
- Able to lift 60 pounds of necessary equipment; Able to push and pull 75 pounds
- Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines.
- Handle exposure to heavy traffic, dust, fumes, high and low temperatures, slippery surfaces, low-lighted work areas and high noise levels.
- Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies
- Regular and reliable attendance. Occasional weekends are required.

Qualifications / Experience / Education:
- Able to pass 7-year criminal background check
- Valid driver's license
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience
- 2+ years of forklift operation
- ISO process understanding
