Overview:
Job Summary
The DC Bulk Receiver is responsible for receiving all bulk raw materials used in the bulk production facility. The receiver sets delivery appointments with vendors and trucking companies, unloads shipments, inspects raw materials and rejects or receives raw materials into inventory based on standards set by NGVC. This position requires prior experience with inventory management software and stand-up reach truck.
Responsibilities:

- Receives, unpacks, and examines goods shipped.
- Verifies completeness and accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and other records.
- Enters goods received into SAP
- Keeps records of goods received.
- Routes incoming goods to appropriate departments.
- Moves goods into and out of warehouse using fork lift or hand truck.
- Assists with production orders and replenishment
- Communicates with Bulk Buyer and vendors regarding any discrepancies at time of receiving.
- Conducts monthly cycle counts
- Communicates with Inventory Analyst on inventory discrepancies.
- Ensures that all work areas are kept clean and free of debris
- Performs all operations in a manner that promotes safety
- Assists in other warehouse tasks such as inventory, housekeeping, warehouse organization
- May be assigned to other warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

- High School degree or equivalent is required
- 2-5 years of warehouse experience required
- Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and concisely
- Previous forklift experience required and ability to be certified by NGVC Has good attention to detail; accuracy and thoroughness is a must.
- Ability to work with others in a fast-paced team environment
- Flexibility with working hours to accommodate warehouse needs
- Must be reliable and on time every day
- Able to work in seasonally warm or cool environment
- Able to assist in other departments as needed Familiar with Microsoft Word and/or Data Entry SAP experience helpful
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility desirable
- Previous experience with GMP's, HACCP and food safety desirable
- Must have current Colorado Driver's License
Physical Requirements
- Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs, repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
- Requires the use of both arms and both hands with full range of motion
- Must be able to bend at the waist and knees, twist, push and pull on an occasional basis Must be able to kneel, squat, and climb as needed
- Must be able to reach overhead and away from the body
- Must be able to walk and stand for at least 90% of the time
