The Bulk Truck Receiving/Shipping Operator ensures a uniform method of receiving and handling bulk components to verify that the material received matches the ingredient ordered to maintain the purity of ingredients during unloading and routing. Weigh bulk loads and tare trucks by using the truck scale. Check the freight bill or the bill of lading with the purchase order to determine that the product was ordered for ADM Alliance Nutrition. Communicate ADMs safety and quality expectations with drivers and ensure they remain compliant while on ADM property. Complete bin inventory as required or necessary. Close bulk tickets properly. Operate the WEM bin and bulk loadout systems. Read the bulk usage report and verify with Production Supervisor to determine which bins to unload product into. Inspect material before unloading for wetness and foreign particles. Inspect the bulk unloading system after unloading/loading a truck ensuring the system is clean preventing any cross contamination. Provide visual inspections of hopper bottom trucks to help prevent cross contamination. Obtain product samples as needed. Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean. Maintain bulk load receipt spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel.
Shifts are 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am for 8 hour shifts - (Puller) or 7am to 5pm and 7pm to 5am, 10 hour shifts (Loader) candidates must be flexible to work these shifts. Candidates should also be available to work weekends and possibly public holidays.
