Bumper Builder ( Assembly) - Plastics
HIRING IMMEDIATELY!!! We are in need of a bumper builder candidate for plastic injection molding company. Looking for someone who wants to work Temporary to Direct Hire and grow with the company.
JOB SUMMARY:
The bumper builder is rsponsible for asesmbling, inspecting and finishing plastic injection-molded bumper components to meet quality, safety, and production standards. This role works closely with molding, painting, and quality teams to ensure automotive bumpers are build accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble plasti injection- molded bumper componentsaccording to work instructions and specifications
- Install inserts, brackets, absorberts, reinforcements, and other hardwared as required
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to endure parts meet quality standards
- Trim, deburr, or clean molded parts as needed
- Identify, document, and report defects or nonconforming parts
- Use hand tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment safely and correctly
- Follaw standardized work, safety rules, and quality procedures ( 5S, PPE, etc)
- Maintain a clean and organized owrk area
- Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Support continuous improvement and teamwork initiatives
Qualificatons and Skills:
- High school dimploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in plastic injecion molding, automotive asssembly, or manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and quality standards
- Basic mechanical aptitude and hand-tool experience
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Abilit to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as required
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing/production floor
- Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and molded plastic materials
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required- company provides with exception of stell toed shoes. ( not needed)
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Manual assembly and handling of bumper components
