    Description

    Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Burn Table Operator role in Clackamas, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products.     Key Responsibilities:

    · Set up and operate CNC burn table equipment, including plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines, to cut metal materials according to specifications.
    · Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate cutting and fabrication.
    · Load, position, and secure metal plates and materials safely for production runs.
    · Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
    · Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with production standards.
    · Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of burn table equipment.
    · Utilize measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
    · Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment issues or material defects.
    · Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    · Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to meet deadlines and daily production goals.

    Qualifications:

    · High school diploma or equivalent required; prior burn table, CNC, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
    · Experience operating plasma or oxy-fuel cutting equipment is strongly preferred.
    · Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
    · Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
    · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
    · Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    · Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
    · Flexibility to work overtime or varying shifts as needed.

    Compensation:

    · $27/hour.
