Machine Operator
Machine Operator with experience operating and maintaining Voortman machinery to cut, burn and/or drill structural steel components including beams, angles, tubing and channels for fabrication and processing.

Job Function
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on Voortman equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure precise cutting and drilling as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines, schedules and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and rectify operational issues with Voortman machinery in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Proven experience operating machinery or similar CNC Equipment.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in the steel service center industry.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and familiarity with machine control software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills and abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
