Bus Aide - 2026-2027 School Year

Tipp City Schools is seeking a dependable and student-focused Bus Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This position supports the bus driver in ensuring the safety and supervision of students during transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist students while boarding and exiting the bus
- Supervise students during transport to ensure a safe and orderly environment
- Support students with special needs as required
- Assist the driver with maintaining student safety and behavior
- Communicate effectively with students and staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Successful BCI and FBI background checks
- Ability to meet all state and district transportation requirements
