What You'll Do as a Bus Detailer

Fleet Cleaning & Detailing

• Wash, clean, and detail buses and fleet vehicles to maintain a professional appearance.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Vacuum floors, clean windows, wipe surfaces, and disinfect high-touch areas.
• Clean passenger seating areas, entryways, handrails, and driver compartments.
• Ensure vehicles meet company cleanliness and presentation standards before returning to service.

Fleet Appearance & Readiness

• Apply, remove, and maintain vehicle decals, graphics, and wraps as needed.
• Assist with preparing vehicles for inspections, special events, and daily operations.
• Perform minor cosmetic touch-ups to support fleet appearance.
• Report damage, cleanliness concerns, or maintenance issues to supervisors.

Facility & Equipment Support

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized wash bays, parking areas, and workspaces.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment, power washers, vacuums, and detailing tools.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
• Assist other departments with vehicle preparation and fleet support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work overnight hours.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work habits.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working around large vehicles.

Preferred

• Previous experience in bus detailing, fleet washing, commercial vehicle cleaning, janitorial services, automotive detailing, or transportation support.
• Experience working around buses, motorcoaches, shuttle vehicles, or commercial fleets.
• Familiarity with detailing equipment, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation procedures.
• Hazardous materials cleaning certification is a plus but not required.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay Rate: $16.40 per hour
