Bus Driver On-Call

Lake Ridge Care Center, a Cassia community, is hiring a Bus Driver to join our team in Buffalo, MN! If you're looking for a supportive team and a place to grow your career, this is your opportunity. As a Bus Driver, you will drive a bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is safe, with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards.

Position Type: On-Call, working minimum 3-4 shifts a month

Wage Range: $19 - $20.78 /hour depending on experience

Location: 310 Park Ln, Buffalo, MN 55313

Bus Driver Responsibilities:

• Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings.
• Complete proper documentation for MnDOT including daily logs and quarterly reports.
• Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
• Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, cleaning the bus, etc.
• Complete additional tasks as requested.

Bus Driver Qualifications:

• Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.
• Must pass the MnDOT physical examination and a criminal background check.
• Capable of operating bus lift and strapping wheelchairs into the bus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience working with people with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.
• Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.
