Job Description
The Shuttle Driver/Tour guide is responsible for following safety protocol, schedules, and pre-determined routes. The driver will also act as the tour guide throughout the trip. The vehicle used is open air and tows a trailer through narrow roadways. The shuttle holds 62 passengers is electric and runs off batteries.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Exceptional attendance and punctuality • Accurately complete vehicle safety checks and escalate any issues • Compliance with all traffic laws and federal and state transit regulations • Interact with customers and our central dispatch team and managers in a professional manner • Provide excellent customer service and support to all riders (i.e., answer questions about schedules, routes, transfer points, and delays) • Promptly report vehicle maintenance, road, and route concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions using two-way radios or hands-free devices

The drivers are responsible for plugging and charging the vehicles at the end of the day.
Skills Required and Physical Demands
• Use route navigation apps and other technology, including knowledge of areas to pick up and drop off customers • Maintain electronic logs to track routes and incidents • Ability to safely operate and drive without a break for a minimum period of one hour and forty-five minutes • Ability to drive in fluctuating weather and terrain • Flexible schedule to work outside of regular days and shifts • Comfortable working a split shift schedule • Ability to lift 45 pounds or more to assist with loading and unloading ADA passengers

Hard Requirements
• Clean driving record • Commercial drivers license A or B • Passenger endorsement • Airbrake endorsement • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
Preferred Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED • At least 1 year of driving experience
