Requirements / Qualifications

Under supervision, to both operate a school bus over designated routes to transport school children and to provide gardening, custodial, delivery, and other services on a regular basis. Candidate will be working in an indoor/outdoor environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and diesel fumes, as well as driving in adverse weather conditions. Physical abilities must consist of climbing in/out of buses, sitting for extended periods of time, lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 75 pounds, and dexterity of hands/fingers to operate a school bus. Qualifications: Successful completion of a school bus driver training program recognized by the California Highway Patrol, possession of a valid California Class B driver's license with passenger and air break endorsements, current School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol, and valid First Aid Certificate issued by an authorized agency. Candidate is required to pass a DOT medical examination and is subject to random drug testing.

Attach a copy of your Class B driver s license and School Bus Driver certificate.
