Job Description Assist the bus driver in providing safe transportation to handicapped students Assist the bus driver in handling wheelchair riders Assist the bus driver in case of an emergency Maintain discipline on the bus Assist individual students as needed Assist with personal hygiene issues Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Director
Minimum Qualifications High School graduate or GED. Ability to lift 40 pounds Possess a current First Aid Card Must be able to follow oral and written instructions Must be able to work patiently with special needs students Agility to enter and exit the bus using the emergency exit Such alternatives to the above qualifications as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Transportation Director

Starting Date: 03/02/2025, unless otherwise specified 25-26 School Year Salary: $19.56-$24.83/hourly per PSE Salary Schedule 2025-2026 School Year Hours: 4.5 Hours/day - 2:25 AM and 2:25 PM Benefits: Retirement, Department of Retirement Systems medical, dental, and life insurance benefits (SEBB) through HCA
