Bus Monitor - Pupil Transportation $17.40/hour

JOB GOAL: Assist in providing safe transportation of students to and from school.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the driver in maintaining discipline and good student conduct on the bus.
• Assist students in getting on and off the bus as required, including buckling seatbelts, as needed.
• Assure that the students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion.
• Assist with children in wheelchairs if necessary.
• Assist in keeping the bus clean and orderly.
• Assist in the wheelchair lift and securement of a wheelchair if necessary.
• Perform any other duties as requested by the Director of Student Services or Transportation Coordinator.

SALARY: Per the contract $17.40/hour

HOURS: Up to 30 hours/week
