Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) is a division within Computershare responsible for providing trustee and sophisticated agency services for private and public companies, investment bankers, asset managers, governments agencies and other financial institutions.

The Business Negotiations Consultant III role operates within the Business Negotiations team that is part of the CCT Originations Group, supporting U.S.-based and international clients.

The Business Negotiations Consultant III collaborates with a multitude of internal and external partners to ensure new business and amendments to existing agreements are onboarded in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

A role you will love

The Business Negotiations Consultant III is responsible for deal negotiation, relationship management and onboarding of new business derived from conventional and structured debt transactions, as well as other trust and agency services. The role is typically, responsible for more complex transactions with new and existing strategically important client relationships.

The role assesses new business opportunities to ensure they fit within CCT guidelines and meet established pricing standards, factoring in accepted risks and required duties. The role also supports product development and expansion of service offerings.

In addition, the role is responsible for responding to or supporting junior Business Negotiations Consultants to respond to and resolve client problems in a timely manner, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Some of your key responsibilities may include:

  • Onboard new business in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Effectively negotiate contracts and amendments, minimizing risk to CCT and clients.
  • Analyse and recommend new business opportunities and support product development and expansion of service offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and other industry players.
  • Deliver quality, risk-compliant solutions that meet or exceed our customers'' needs and expectations.
  • Timely escalation and resolution of known issues to the relevant person(s) and/or team(s).
  • Effectively collaborate with internal partners (e.g., OMT, Client Services, Legal, Compliance, Gov. & Control, etc.), as well as external partners.
  • Provide leadership support to manager and Business Negotiations team.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $119K - $150K USD. This base pay range is specific to the Minnesota location and may not be applicable to other locations.
