Route Coordinator - Stipend Position
RVISD is accepting applications for a stipend-paid Route Coordinator position within the Transportation Department.

Department: Transportation
Primary Purpose:
Coordinate routing of student transportation for regular and special programs to ensure safe, efficient, timely, and economical transportation services.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate and maintain district bus routes and schedules
- Assign drivers, buses, and substitute coverage as needed
- Communicate transportation changes with parents, staff, and drivers
- Process requests for extracurricular transportation
- Maintain route maps and transportation records
- Dispatch drivers and vehicles as needed
- Assist with student transportation concerns and service requests
- Serve as a substitute bus driver when necessary
- Follow all district safety protocols and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Texas CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
