Position Title: Buses Operations Support, Emerging Talent Intern
Hourly Rate: $19.00 (Undergraduate), $21.00 (Graduate)
All internship positions are onsite and require regular, in-person attendance at the designated work location.
OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT:
The Baisley Park Bus Depot is part of MTA New York City Transit's Department of Buses, providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation to the riding public. Our primary mission is to deliver consistent bus service that connects communities across New York City. The depot operates through a coordinated effort primarily between Transportation, Maintenance and Safety. Our Transportation team ensures that buses are dispatched on time and service is delivered as scheduled, while our Maintenance team is responsible for keeping the fleet safe, clean, and in a state of good repair through regular inspections, servicing, and repairs.
