Business Advisory Manager - CPA

Our client, a tenured public accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Business Advisory Manager - CPA. This role goes beyond traditional back-office accounting, empowering you to serve as a trusted advisor who helps privately held business owners interpret their numbers, improve operational performance, and drive strategic growth. 

Job Type: Direct Hire
Location: Greater Cincinnati Area (Hybrid and Remote Options Available). Candidates must reside within the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area.
Pay Range: $100,000-200,000 per year, based on experience

Key Responsibilities 

• Advisory & Strategy: Meet directly with business owners to explain financial results, develop KPIs and dashboards, and advise on cash flow, profitability, and budgeting.
• Controllership Oversight: Lead month-end close processes, review financial statements, and improve internal controls and accounting workflows.
• Client Management: Manage multiple client engagements and collaborate with tax professionals to align financial results with tax planning.
• Team Leadership: Delegate tasks, review work, and mentor team members through collaborative service models.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• Active CPA license
• 8+ years of accounting, controllership, advisory, or public accounting experience
• Solid client-facing advisory and communication skills 

 Preferred Qualifications:  

• Prior public accounting, Client Accounting Services (CAS), or outsourced controller background
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and tax coordination.
