SupportsORS Product Owners BAs and project teams
Position Summary
Act as liaison to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements for information systems, processes, and policies. Translate business needs into design documents using State of Michigan templates, Azure DevOps, Visio, and Excel. Collaborate with SOM BAs, knowledge transfer stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to clarify intent gaps and feasibility. Focus on Agile user stories, financial systems, wiki documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 7 years as senior Business Analyst, government, retirement, financial services experience • Azure DevOps knowledge, write Agile user stories • Gather, analyze, financial requirements, facilitate stakeholder sessions • Translate needs between business and technical teams, create detailed requirements and process flows • Wiki expertise, Markdown, Wiki Markup, reStructuredText, intuitive structures, version control, gap analysis • Lead backlog refinement, Agile ceremonies, Planning, Stand-ups, etc. Agile SDLC process modeling, testing • Bachelors in Business Admin, IS, Public Admin, or related
Additional Duties
• Support SOW, TCO, OSSP, SEM artifact reviews, State tech solutions • Change docs, training, test plans, data execution, defect vs. requirement analysis • UI/UX reviews, system doc updates • Interviews - Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview • Duration: 1 year with possible extension
Position Location and Schedule
Position location: Lansing Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week: Tuesdays and Wednesdays are required onsite days.
