Business Analyst - ADM, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (up to 100% telecommuting permitted):

  • Work on various complex enhancements, maintenance and operations projects.
  • Coordinate with client Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) business teams, in understanding the business requirements and lead the technical teams in understanding, adopting, and developing technical solutions.
  • Leverage MMIS functional knowledge for claims processing and adjudication, provider enrollment, member eligibility and financial management.
  • Represent the company's business analysts and Agile development team at client meetings to gather the business requirements by understanding the applicability and scope of changes requested.
  • Collaborate with SME, Architects, and cross functional teams to understand complex business requirements, and associate them to the required system changes and impact analysis.
  • Participate and contribute to strategic and tactical business solutioning for critical business requirements, by applying skills in Key decision making, software development practices and business analysis.
  • Create key project estimates, deliverables, and related artifacts in the SDLC.
  • Develop the EPICs, features and related stories based on agreed business requirements along with proper development standards.
  • Manage projects aligned with Agile methodologies to ensure business requirements are implemented correctly into the CA-MMIS system.
  • Manage the project progress using various project management and deliverable tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams like testing team for planning and execution of the System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional, regression and end to end integration testing of various CA-MMIS applications.
  • Adopt organizational QMS, OPAL, Metrics Management Frameworks, Lifecycle methodologies, for both Waterfall and Agile with implementation of appropriate lifecycle tools.
  • Adhere to Service Level agreements with respect to the contractual requirements, and ensure applications are developed and maintained in accordance with the defined SLAs.
  • Utilize: Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), Agile Methodology, Project Management, Business Analysis and Technical/Process Requirements Management, Quality Management and Process Engineering, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or related and two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), Agile Methodology, Project Management, Business Analysis and Technical/Process Requirements Management, Quality Management and Process Engineering, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). $148450 to $160326 per year.
