Position: Business Analyst – Advanced (Power BI / BI & Project Management) Location: Columbia, SC Onsite (Only Local Candidates) Duration: 6 Months Contract Interview Process: Virtual Only W2 Req ID: 10303 Job Description Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations Analyze data requirements, database structures, and system architectures Support database migration efforts, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization Create data models, cubes, and paginated reports to enhance data accessibility Monitor database performance, usage, and system efficiency; run diagnostics and forecasting Collaborate with stakeholders, project sponsors, and technical teams to gather and refine requirements Provide project management support, including status reporting, risk tracking, and deliverable management Recommend system improvements, upgrades, and enhancements Work with third-party vendors for system analysis and implementation support Ensure alignment with data governance, privacy, and IT standards Provide technical guidance and consultation to internal teams and leadership Required Skills & Experience: 2+ years of Project Management experience 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI Strong background in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization Knowledge of IT systems, database architecture, and data analysis Basic understanding of data governance and privacy practices Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision Preferred Skills: 5+ years of experience with business intelligence tools Experience in Change Management and Business Continuity Strong knowledge of Database Architecture and Data Modeling Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR 4+ years of relevant experience in place of a degree (year-for-year basis) Best Regards, Salman Alam IT Recruiter||Syntricate Technologies Inc.
