Business Analyst

Payrate: $60.00 - $64.00/hr.
 
Summary:
Responsible for leading detailed gap analysis across API-driven workflows and channel integrations, with a focus on identifying breakdowns in how data flows between systems and is delivered across channels. This role defines and analyzes end-to-end API flows, system interactions, and platform dependencies to map current vs. future state, uncover gaps in connectivity, data consistency, and delivery, and drive clear, actionable requirements. Includes analysis across interconnected platforms (e.g., CMS, translation systems, and delivery layers) to ensure alignment, accuracy, and proper data propagation across the ecosystem.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across projects
• Own and deliver comprehensive gap analysis across systems, APIs, platforms, workflows, and data flows
• Map and document current state vs future state, including system interactions and dependencies
• Conduct gap analysis across interconnected platforms including CMS, translation systems, APIs, and delivery layers between different channels.
• Analyze and document end-to-end delivery flows specially with omnichannel solutions
• Identify breakdowns in API behavior, system connectivity, data flow, platform configuration, and content delivery
• Evaluate how SSR vs client-side rendering impacts data accuracy and delivery behavior
• Assess platform behavior and integration points to identify configuration gaps and inconsistencies
• Work with engineering teams to validate system behavior across APIs, services, frontend layers, and delivery mechanisms
• Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to clarify requirements and uncover gaps across systems and platforms
• Ensure requirements account for integration nuances, edge cases, and delivery dependencies
• Support testing by ensuring coverage of integration scenarios, dependencies, and failure paths
• Identify risks related to system gaps, data inconsistencies, platform behavior, and delivery issues, and manage escalation as needed
• Conduct gap analysis on REST API and GraphQL API behavior and queries, including schema alignment, resolution consistency, and response structure across services
• Analyze OpenSearch (or similar search/indexing platform) behavior and query patterns to identify inconsistencies or coverage gaps

 
Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5–8 years of Business Analyst experience (mid–senior level)
• Proven experience leading end-to-end BA efforts across projects
• Strong experience conducting detailed gap analysis across systems, APIs, workflows, and platforms
• Experience working in IT environments with integrated systems and service-based architecture
• Experience across full project lifecycle (discovery → requirements → validation → delivery support)
• Experience analyzing web applications leveraging SSR frameworks (e.g., Angular), APIs, and CDN-based delivery
• Experience performing analysis across multiple enterprise platforms and SaaS systems
• Experience analyzing REST and GraphQL API behavior, including query structure, request/response patterns, and schema design
• Experience with OpenSearch (or similar search/indexing platforms), including query behavior and indexing concepts
• Experience with Angular applications, including hydration behavior and client-side/server-side caching

 
Skills:

• Strong gap analysis capability across systems, integrations, and workflows
• Working knowledge of APIs, service layers, and system-to-system connectivity
• Ability to analyze data flow across backend services, application layers, and frontend delivery
• Understanding of web application architecture, including SSR (Server-Side Rendering), Angular, and CDN/caching behavior
• Ability to identify issues related to content delivery, caching inconsistencies, and environment differences
• Ability to analyze cross-platform workflows and integration points across third-party systems (CMS, translation systems, APIs, delivery layers)
• Proven ability to lead analysis workstreams independently and drive clarity in ambiguous environments
• Expertise in process mapping (current vs future state) with strong attention to detail
• Ability to produce clear, structured requirements and documentation
• Strong communication and stakeholder facilitation skills
• Working knowledge of REST API and GraphQL API query behavior, including differences in resolution, schema contracts, and response structure
• Familiarity with OpenSearch (or similar search/indexing platforms) query behavior and search relevance analysis
• Understanding of Angular hydration behavior (client/server rendering handoff) and caching strategies (browser, CDN, application-level)

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $64.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
