Description
Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Business Analyst for their Auburn Hills, MI location.
Responsibilities:
Purchasing parts and services for groups/supplier calibration support
50-100 requisitions a month
Experience with vendors, writing reqs, following up with suppliers and lead time, looking at pricing
Repair side: weekly items need to be done - equipment comes and goes (ship and box up) equipment coming up will have to receipt (need to be posted as a good receipt)
Occasionally capital equipment (different from other equipment) to be purchased
Part of the role is doing some inventory management in the repair department (100s of parts) - making sure bins are filled, place orders if they're low
Acting as a customer service figurehead within the department - direct others on how to fill out a work order or what they may need
Manage Vector hardware warranty exchange program.
Manage department calibration equipment to ensure calibration cycle is maintained through work order creation and vendor brokering.
Execution of capital projects.
Supplier Calibration Support (CTC and CPG).
New equipment record creation using database.
Vendor management, follow up with suppliers.
Train others throughout the building on the purchasing process and PSAP.
Requirements:
Candidates working in procurement field with inventory management experience would be a good fit.
Inventory management.
Well organised
Good computer skills (Microsoft office)
Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field.
PSAP knowledge, Inventory management, Microsoft office, good communication skills.
