    Description

    Business Analyst
Austin, TX | Onsite | 6+ Month Contract

iSphere is looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys bringing structure to complex business processes and helping turn good ideas into practical solutions. If you're someone who naturally asks, "How can we make this work better?" instead of "That's how we've always done it," we'd like to talk.

This role supports a mission-critical public health program responsible for vital records across Texas. You'll work closely with business users and technical teams to support ongoing enhancements, improve business processes, and help ensure critical systems continue running smoothly. It's a role where good analysis has a real impact on the people who rely on these services every day.

    What they're really looking for:

    • 8+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications
    • Strong background in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement
    • Experience creating process maps, work plans, business documentation, and functional requirements
    • Ability to analyze business challenges and develop practical, cost-effective solutions
    • Experience managing small to medium-sized projects and tracking progress against milestones
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

You'll spend your time meeting with stakeholders, documenting requirements, evaluating business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, creating project documentation, and helping move initiatives from concept through implementation. You'll also assist with project planning, risk identification, work estimates, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and comfortable working through complex business problems. They know that a successful project starts with asking the right questions, listening carefully, and making sure everyone is solving the same problem before building the solution.

If you're the type of Business Analyst who enjoys connecting people, processes, and technology—and takes pride in making complicated things easier to understand—we'd love to hear from you.
