IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves supporting vital records operations and ensuring continuity of business functions related to public health initiatives. The position is ideal for someone experienced in project management, business analysis, and applicable laws and regulations within the vital statistics domain.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Support front-line business operations across multiple areas within the Vital Statistics Service.
- Assist with the ongoing management and enhancement of the TxEVER electronic vital events system.
- Analyze complex data and IT applications to develop workable solutions.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to interpret laws, policies, and procedures.
- Facilitate effective communication and documentation for project and operational needs.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis, project planning, and understanding of Texas Vital Statistics laws.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).
- Strong skill in analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting complex IT applications and policies.
- Ability to develop creative solutions for complex problems and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage small to medium-sized projects and produce accurate work estimates.
