JOB TITLE: Business Analyst

Scope of Services

• Define and document business functions and processes.
• Analyze the integration of business functions with technology.
• Maintain a working knowledge of accounting, procurement, finance, or contract management.
• Assist with business case development and business process reengineering.
• Consult with management and personnel to identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input, and output requirements.
• Recommend new processes that yield operational efficiencies.
• Develop or assist with project work plans and project timelines.
• Perform software testing and confirm adherence to acceptance criteria.

Mandatory Expertise / Experience

• Ten (10)+ years of experience in:
  • Business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
  • Facilitating meetings with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
  • Translating business needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Data analysis, workflow mapping, and process improvement
  • Supporting software development teams with user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases

Desirable Expertise / Experience

• Experience with public-sector or government projects
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
• Experience conducting user training and developing user guides

Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***
