IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in Brentwood, TN. This role involves serving as a liaison between the business and technical teams, focusing on project intake, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into actionable data and technology requirements.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst :
- Support and execute project intake and requirements gathering across multiple business departments.
- Coordinate discovery sessions, evaluate needs, and document workflows and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret and translate business objectives into practical requirements for analytics, data engineering, BI, and IT teams.
- Manage and track multiple requests and priorities, ensuring timely progress on deliverables.
- Maintain clear, audit-ready documentation of requirements, process maps, and decisions
Requirements for the Business Analyst :- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, business systems analysis, data analytics, or similar.
- Working experience in the Data space.
- Proven expertise gathering business requirements, documenting workflows, and translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with project coordination experience.
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, data warehouses, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is desirable.
