Part Time Contract Role | Business Analyst in Cincinnati OH 6 months contract with possible extension Pay range: $38-42/hour on w2 Part Time: 10 hours/week Job Description: Demonstrates customer interface/relationship skills and performs well in the Senior Business Analyst role with teams. Has the ability to provide direction to peer/junior resources. Defines high-level application, relationships, flows, implementation of business (processes, activities, functions, information), applications, and creates business and system use cases or functional specifications. Analyses complex and new situations, anticipates potential problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts and risks while developing and implementing plans and solutions to customer problems. Independently creates business requirement documents (BRD) that sets out project requirement including costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines Focuses skills and experience on projects and oversees acceptance testing, contributes to development of user guides, provides user training, supports the user in development of work processes. Collaborates with scrum master to track progress of sprints (Sprint log, % difference between user stories planned and deployed). Participates in resolving any functional issue in post-production environment during the cutover period Works under limited supervision of Sr. / Lead business analysts. Should have prior experience of working with clients of Retail, Client, and Logistics industry Must Have: Audit Process Experience: The candidate must have significant experience with the audit process, preferably from a professional services background, to ensure efficiency and high quality in the work. Flexible Capacity Management: The candidate must be available on a part-time basis to effectively manage specific seasonal workload spikes, avoiding the creation of an unfulfilled full-time role for the remainder of the fiscal year.', Immediate Proficiency: The candidate must be immediately proficient in this niche area. The nature of this work is such that finding internal resources is difficult, and training new individuals would require several years, with an associated risk of subsequent role rotation. Proven High-Level Performance: The candidate must demonstrate a history of high-level performance in complex accounting roles, ideally with prior experience in a large corporate environment, indicating immediate integration capability and understanding of corporate standards. Specialized Technical Accounting Expertise: The candidate must possess deep expertise in technical accounting for benefit plans, including a thorough understanding of Department of Labor and IRS regulations. This specialized area involves non-standard financial statements.
