Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Part-Time)

Duration: 6 Months
Schedule: Part-Time (Approximately 6 hours per week)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support business and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience gathering business requirements, creating functional documentation, collaborating with Agile teams, and working directly with business stakeholders. This is a part-time engagement requiring approximately 6 hours per week for a 6-month project.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Analyze complex business problems and recommend effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Agile teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track sprint progress and support backlog refinement and user story management.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support post-production issue resolution.
• Develop user guides and provide end-user training when needed.
• Support business process improvements and recommend best practices.
• Mentor or provide guidance to junior Business Analysts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong experience creating BRDs, functional specifications, use cases, and process documentation.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Basic understanding of information security principles and OWASP Top 10 concepts.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting clients in Retail, Consumer Goods (Client/FClientG), or Logistics/Supply Chain industries.
• Experience working on enterprise application implementations and business process improvement initiatives.
