Client is seeking a professional responsible for gathering program requirements to generate monitoring and tracking templates, developing policies and procedures, creating and maintaining recurring reports, and performing data analysis and visualization to support Managed Care oversight initiatives. The candidate will translate and communicate data findings to Bureau and Agency leadership while collaborating with Managed Care staff, IT teams, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis using trend analysis, outlier identification, and standard data exploration techniques.
  • Analyze grievance, appeals, service authorization, and dispute datasets for members and providers.
  • Develop recurring reports and dashboards for quarterly and annual submissions.
  • Ensure data quality through validation and verification processes.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to Managed Care data management and contract monitoring.
  • Perform contract monitoring analysis and communicate findings to leadership teams.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and agency-wide projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, providers, and state/federal agencies.
  • Participate in professional development and apply new analytical skills and methodologies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Bureau leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of research design, data collection, data manipulation, and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience with SAS, Excel, Python, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and identify trends/outliers.
  • Excellent report preparation and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to learn new tools, processes, and business domains quickly.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with federal or state healthcare data systems such as Medicaid, HRSA, HHS, or Census data.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Experience in healthcare analytics or Managed Care environments.

Education Requirement

  • Master's Degree in Data Science, Public Health, Statistics, Health Informatics, or related field.
