Job Title: Business Analyst Contractor

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Contractor to join our client's team in the automotive industry. In this role, you will contribute to supporting a global supply chain data platform, understanding business needs, shaping requirements, analyzing data, and ensuring delivered solutions meet functional expectations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to understand business use cases and priorities
- Facilitate requirement gathering with client stakeholders, SI teams, and source system owners
- Analyze datasets using SQL to validate against business requirements
- Identify data gaps, quality issues, and mismatches
- Partner with development teams to guide solution implementation
- Validate data products and support functional testing
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst in data or platform programs
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Ability to convert business needs into clear functional requirements
- Experience working across product, business, SI, and development teams
- Automobile, Supply chain domain knowledge
- 10+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data quality validation and requirement traceability
- Experience with any hyperscalar or databricks
