Job Title: Business Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements.
- Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, design documents, and process flows.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.
- Conduct business process analysis, process mapping, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze data, perform data mapping, and support data modeling activities.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define business needs, evaluate solutions, and recommend improvements.
- Support Agile teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and user acceptance activities.
- Develop business cases, perform cost-benefit analysis, and assess risks and impacts.
- Ensure requirements traceability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Support project governance, reporting, and compliance with established methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for business processes and supporting technologies.
 Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting large, complex IT systems.
- 8+ years of experience with requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documentation.
- 8+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies and system development practices.
- 8+ years of experience managing stakeholder expectations and priorities.
- 8+ years of experience working within project governance structures.
- 8+ years of experience using Microsoft development platforms and related technologies.
- 6+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
- 5+ years of experience with data mapping and data modeling.
- 5+ years of experience using ALM tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, VSTS, Jira, or RTC.
- 5+ years of experience working with SQL Server Management Studio or other relational databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise data management, data governance, and information architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, application modernization, and integration initiatives.
- Experience conducting cost-benefit analysis, risk analysis, and impact assessments.
- Familiarity with data modeling standards and architecture analysis.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- Experience consulting with executive-level stakeholders and business leaders.
- Previous experience working with government or public-sector organizations.
