Business Analyst - ERP Transformation

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst - ERP Transformation in Austin, TX.

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale ERP transformation initiative. This role is heavily focused on discovery, current-state analysis, and process optimization, with a specific emphasis on custom order and product customization workflows. You will partner closely with business and technology teams to analyze complex processes, identify gaps, and drive clarity across highly integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities: Discovery & Process Analysis:

• Lead discovery sessions to understand and document current-state (As-Is) business processes
• Create detailed process artifacts including process maps, swimlane diagrams, and value streams
• Identify inefficiencies, system limitations, integration gaps, and data flow issues
• Partner with stakeholders to define business pain points and improvement opportunities

Requirements Gathering & Documentation:

• Facilitate workshops to gather and validate business and functional requirements

Translate requirements into clear deliverables such as:

• Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
• User stories and acceptance criteria
• Use cases and process flows
• Support backlog creation and prioritization

Business Value & Transformation Support:

• Develop Business Value Assessments (BVAs) to help quantify expected benefits and outcomes
• Support gap analysis between current and future state processes
• Help define future-state workflows aligned with transformation goals

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Work across multiple functions including supply chain, product, sales, and operations
• Ensure alignment across interconnected systems and workflows
