Provide a short description of the Position: This position will develop and/or maintain business requirements, test plans and test cases and perform functional and regression testing on applications. This position will also support applications in a help desk type environment.
Provide a list of the day to day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: This individual will be expected to participate in the following activities: " Analyze system documentation and system artifacts to develop an understanding of the associated business process. " Elicit business system requirements using one or more of the following methods: analyze current processes, interview users, conduct group meetings, review/analyze existing documentation or system artifacts. " Document and analyze as is and to be business processes. " Develop or maintain high-level and detailed system requirements in the form of clear business requirements documents, context diagrams, process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and use cases. " Develop or maintain test plans and detailed test cases. " Develop or maintain user acceptance testing plans and help desk support guides. " Develop detailed functional and system tests from documented system requirements. Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases. " Develop or contribute to the development of regression tests and/or user acceptance tests. " Execute functional and system tests, including regression tests. Participate in user acceptance testing. " Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, performing retesting as required.
" Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g., missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process. " Respond and work-through incident tickets submitted by users of business applications.
