Job Summary (List Format):
- Serve as a Business Process and Finance Transformation Consultant for Grant Thornton's client advisory initiatives.
- Evaluate and assess client financial workflows (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report) to identify bottlenecks, manual workarounds, and compliance risks.
- Design future-state operating models, standard operating procedures, and automated workflow architectures.
- Lead or advise on the deployment of enterprise platforms (such as SAP S/4HANA, Workday Financials, Oracle Cloud) to automate accounting and enable real-time reporting.
- Guide finance teams through organizational restructuring, skill realignment, and technology adoption for successful change management.
- Conduct business process assessments, document current-state processes, and interview client stakeholders.
- Perform business analysis to identify operational challenges, requirements, and risks.
- Benchmark industry best practices, research KPIs, and evaluate trends to recommend improvements.
- Develop future-state process designs and recommend operational enhancements aligned with best practices.
- Participate in internal control assessments, process reviews, system implementations, and functional testing.
- Lead project workstreams, manage assigned activities, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Create detailed client deliverables, including process documentation, assessments, presentations, and implementation plans.
- Facilitate client meetings, workshops, and working sessions to gather requirements and communicate progress.
- Identify project risks, escalate issues, and mentor junior consultants.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and high-quality consulting service.
- Support Finance Transformation practice development by creating reusable methodologies, templates, tools, and knowledge assets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and finance transformation best practices.
- 100% remote, 3-month contract position with potential for extension.
