Business Analyst / Functional Consultant

Job Title: Business Analyst / Functional Consultant with AI skills

Location: Mclean, VA (Onsite)

Job Type: Fulltime

Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 a year + Benefits

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions across business, product, and technology teams
• Translate business needs into clear, concise, and delivery-ready user stories and functional specifications
• Work closely with UX, development, and QA teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented as intended
• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews with accurate and prioritized requirements
• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, Salesforce implementation teams, and mobile development teams
• Ensure traceability between business objectives, functional requirements, and delivered functionality
• Support change management by assessing impact and updating documentation as requirements evolve

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation for complex digital programs
• Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business needs across business, product, technology, and vendor teams
• Proven experience translating business requirements into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Experience working on Salesforce-based programs, preferably Experience Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, or similar CRM platforms
• Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum delivery models
• Experience supporting member-facing or customer-facing digital platforms, preferably in banking or financial services
• Proficient in using AI tools to improve productivity and write user stories that are created by AI using prompts
• Additionally we would also like this resource to have experience in managing multiple business stake holders and creating the right balance with prioritizing multiple projects within the scope of their work
• Excellent documentation skills using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent AI / GenAI Skills for Business Analyst
