Business Analyst

Our well-established client is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join their growing team near Glens Falls, NY. 

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst will include:

• Work with the applicable business unit to identify, recommend and implement areas of improvement for automated workflow and procedures
• Report project and status updates to management
• Work with vendors on performance issues, support tickets, enhancements and upcoming releases
• Review and analyze existing technology to determine needs and make suggestions where needed 
• Identify training opportunities within business units to ensure proficient use of systems
• Evaluate and ensure systems utilization is as designed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Business Analyst:

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience, or extended work experience in lieu of education
• Experience in banking or financial institutions required 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of banking functions/business units 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated individual
• Detail oriented and deadline driven

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $62,500 - $85,000.
