Business Analyst

Job Summary

A full-time Business Analyst is needed to focus on nine high-priority legacy applications. This role is primarily remote, with on-site work required monthly on the second Monday. The position aims to reverse-engineer and document current requirements using AI-assisted tools, develop comprehensive test cases, and facilitate accessibility gap analysis.

Responsibilities

• Reverse-engineer and document current requirements, including user stories, processes, data flows, and edge cases.
• Develop comprehensive requirements-based test cases, including functional, regression, accessibility-specific, and security-focused tests.
• Create traceability matrices linking scan findings to specific business processes.
• Facilitate WCAG 2.2 accessibility gap analysis and validate fixes against business needs.
• Collaborate with various teams to build a strong, reusable foundation for legacy applications.
• Complete weekly timesheet reporting and personal status reporting by COB Friday.
• Report to the IT Manager supporting GRQ applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst writing business requirements and test cases or a 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
• Experience in reverse-engineering legacy applications to document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Proficiency in developing user stories, process flows, data flow diagrams, and edge-case scenarios.
• Experience creating comprehensive requirements-based test cases for functional, regression, security, and accessibility testing.
• Ability to support and perform application testing activities, including executing test cases and documenting defects.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify ambiguities, gaps, and potential risks in requirements.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.
• Ability to create and maintain traceability matrices and validate AI-generated content.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and SharePoint.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

This position is primarily remote, with a monthly on-site requirement on the second Monday of each month.
